Back in the late 80’s, early 90’s, or thereabouts, while working as a patrol cop in the NYPD, there was much hype and anticipation to film director Spike Lee’s “MALCOLM X” movie. Many people were showing their reverence by donning the now iconic “X” baseball cap. My partner quizzically asked me when the caps became commonplace, “What is with all the Roman Numeral ten hats?”
